I think the difference between Winnicott and Lacan is one of them is talking about a father that lets people play and be creative, another is talking about a father that let's people have sex with Santa.
Not good enough for me. 😄
Not good enough because I watched Pan's labyrinth and other good movies that talk about the difference between reality and fiction.
People may have needed the fiction in times of war (Tolkien) but some people are interested in historical facts not tales about history.
If people do not talk about realities and history in times of peace, then if times of war (which is already there in some places in the world) come again, people may fight the wars that are based on fiction.
Sometimes you have to choose between laughing at charlatans and their stupid jokes, and real people that actually work for peace. Life is too short to laugh at stupid jokes in my opinion.
“There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.”

"I refer to: transpersonal, transpersonal unconscious, transpersonal analytic ideal, archetypal, the contra-sexual components of the psyche, the animus and anima, animus-anima conjunction. I cannot be communicated with in this language."
"I do not know how to teach philosophy without becoming a disturber of the peace."
— Baruch Spinoza
I am a Spinozaian now. 😄
“Whoever teaches without emancipating stultifies.”
— Jacques Rancière
‘Only a sith deals in absolutes’ is not an absolute?
Only a Winnicott can say what is real reality? 😄
I believe in Moreno's reality.
Not Winnicott's church reality.
I do not believe Rose's litereality either. I think Phillips is a better writer now. It comes and goes.
One can write long texts but subtext may mean nothing at all.
“I believe nothing. Belief is intellectual surrender; “faith” a state of willed self-delusion.”
― Barbara Ehrenreich, Living with a Wild God: A Nonbeliever's Search for the Truth about Everything
“Envy is an angry feeling caused by the belief that something desired belongs to another and gives pleasure to them and not to us; the envious drive tends to take that desired thing away from its owner or to spoil it, to pollute it.”

Kernberg is a better writer than J. Rose. I think Adam Phillips is even better than Kernberg.
If one does not like what a writer writes one may not read them.
